A theatre trained actor, Thomas assumed the role of Joseph Asagai in the Tony-award winning revival of "A Raisin In the Sun" in the Broadway production featuring Denzel Washington. Off-Broadway, Thomas appeared twice with the NY Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park in "Much Ado About Nothing", and "Timon of Athens".
