Katharine Tobin

Katharine Tobin was born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles. At an early age she watched her father, Matthew Tobin (1929-2008) act on Broadway. She started acting as a child doing commercials, theatre and TV movies. Her first acting role was in diapers for Pampers. She continued acting at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California. She received a BFA in Drama with Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She moved back to New York and studied with Uta Hagen at HB Studio. Several plays later, she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where she worked in TV, film, commercials and theatre. Katharine is now living in Los Angeles.
