Born in England, her introduction into acting was with "The Leicestershire Youth Shakespeare Company which she was accepted into at the age of 15 and traveled to The Edinburgh Festival and Italy during school holidays. Distracted by dreams of escaping Northern England, at 18 Sue was offered a chance to model in Tokyo Japan which she did for 5 years inspiring her hit stage show "Manchester Girl". "Manchester Girl"recently won a prestigious Fringe First Award at The Edinburgh Festival. It was then moved to Londons Off West End Theatre The Riverside Studios for a very successful run. The show debuted in Los Angeles and Sue was also nominated for a LA Weekly Award for Best Solo Performance there. After her modeling stint and in pursuit of a professional acting career, Sue moved to America, attended and graduated from The American Conservatory Theaters 2 year advanced training program (ACT) in San Francisco. Soon after graduating she played the Mother of James in Disney's James and the Giant Peach (1996), then moved to Los Angeles and produced (with SEG Group Productions) and co-starred in Douglas Carter Beanes "The Country Club" which won 4 Drama-Logue Awards including one for her performance as Chloe. Other stand-out roles include Rose in "Dancing at Lughnasa" at The Western Stage and Stacy in the award winning short "Through Riley's Eyes" which she wrote and directed. Other directing jobs include The Robert Cray Band's Award winning music videos "No One Special" and "Twenty". She recently played roles in the hit show "The Sheild" and "The Bold and the Beautiful". Sue is soon heading to New York for an Off Broadway run of her hit show "Manchester Girl".
