Co-Executive Producer at Silvergate Media, previously Series Producer for Nickelodean's preschool phenomenon "Sunny Day" , Emmy award-winning Storyboard Artist, Director, Designer and Illustrator whose work can be seen in numerous animated series, television shows and the feature films Gone Girl, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Red Dragon,. Credits include boarding his childhood dream projects: Warner Bros. Scooby Doo direct-to-video feature films and Justice League direct-to-video feature films, Disney's My Friends Tigger & Pooh, Sony Entertainment's Jackie Chan Adventures, and the critically acclaimed Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. Kirk also worked on the wildly successful Transformers: Prime CG-animated series for Hasbro/Woodridge Productions, for which Kirk has won the 2013 Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation: Storyboards. His illustrations have been presented at 2013 Miami Basil, the world's premier international art show for Modern and Contemporary works as well as providing designs for a 6-story sculpture that loomed dramatically over tourists' heads in Times Square. To this day, you can still find his art gracing toys and novelty items associated with Lucasfilms Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Kirk started out working in comics, penciling horror books for Marvel & DC Comics. He eventually landed a stint on Vampirella, the legendary horror franchise, at Harris Comics where he began to make a real name for himself. After working on Steven Spielberg's Invasion America animated series, Kirk moved to Los Angeles to further pursue his interest in storytelling through animation. He served as Director for episodes of Jackie Chan Adventures & Transformers Prime animated series before venturing into producing for preschool and bridge series.
