Willy Vanduren

Willy Vanduren is a Belgian television director and screenwriter. Vanduren is primarily known as co-creator and director of the Flemish hit sitcom F.C. De Kampioenen (1990), along with Antwerp based producer Bruno Raes and Belgian-Limburg based screenwriter Luc Beerten brain behind the show's concept. Vanduren's work with Ghent based theatre director and screenwriter Frank Van Laecke is acclaimed. He formed a strong force with Van Laecke during his time as the show's supervising director. Later in his career, he worked on the popular Flemish-Belgian soap series Thuis as a director until his retirement in 2013.
