Laura Vickers

Laura was born in Toronto, Ontario on April 26, 1964. She graduated from St. Joseph's College School in Toronto and from Ryerson University, Toronto, with a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree in Radio and Television Arts. Laura worked for a decade on the original award winning Degrassi television series as an Outreach Co-coordinator. Although her production role required her to work behind the scenes, the non-union production would initiate their crew members by giving them a small walk on role. Laura's roles included the voice of an Aids victim, and numerous turns as a police officer. She currently resides in Toronto and is married to Post Production Manager Brian P. White. They have 4 children. Hannah born June 21, 1996, Aidan born June 22, 1999, Jacob and Liam, identical twins born June 12, 2001. Laura spends her spare time writing and volunteering.
