Viviana Verveen was born, raised and currently resides in Ireland. Her mother is Irish and her father from Holland. Viviana is the younger sister of actor Arie Verveen; Sin City (2005), Cabin Fever (2002) and The Thin Red Line (1998). Like her brother Viviana is an actor in the film, television and theatre arenas. Her on screen debut was playing the lead role in 'Daddy's Girl' a short film opposite Clive Russell which screened at the 'National Film Theatre' in London. She starred in the critically acclaimed movie _Crush Proof (1999)_ directed by Paul Tickell which has become a European cult classic. Viviana appeared in Karaoke (1996) starring Albert Finney and written by respected English playwright Dennis Potter. Most recently Viviana appeared in the feature film _Headrush (2004)_ alongside Huey Morgan of the band 'The Fun Lovin' Criminals'. Viviana's love of the theatre has taken her through the 'fringe theatres' of London onto the stages of the renowned 'Royal National Theatre' in central London. On the fringe circuit she starred in 'Fire-eater' at the Tristan Bates Theatre, in 'Mackerel Sky' at the Bush Theatre, with Ioan Gruffudd in 'Decameron' at the Gate Theatre and in 'Dusa, Fish, Stas & Vi' at the Etcetera Theatre. She took to the Olivier stage at the 'Royal National Theatre' appearing in 'Peer Gynt' co-directed by 'Conall Morrison' and Trevor Nunn and at the 'Royal National Theatre Studio' in 'The Night Garden' and 'New Works'. Viviana has recently starred in several hometown productions in Dublin City namely; 'Down The Flats' performed at Mountjoy prison, the Crypt Theatre and the New Theatre, 'Talking With' at An Beal Bocht Dublin, 'Give Us A Break' also at the Crypt Theatre and a tour of 'You And Whose Army'. Viviana has at times directed drama workshops for adults with learning disabilities, at the 'National Training And Development Institute' in County Wicklow Ireland and for young kids at the 'Wicklow School of Music And Drama'.
