Gyle (pronounced as Jill) Waddy is from Philadelphia, Pennslyvania, USA, living in Brussels, Belgium. No new comer to show biz, he's worked as an actor, director, choreographer, mannequin, dancer, writer, vocal professor, lyricist, musical and executive producer, and as a singer. After spending a year in Europe, he then moved back to New York City in 1973, some ten years after his first stay there. Plunging himself back into his studies he went to different schools for theater, commercials, singing, dancing, while continuing his work as a model, actor, singer and dancer. He has acted in various children's theater productions - 'Freedom Train'. He also acted in different dramatic and musical comedy companies such as: 'J.C. Superstar', 'Hair', 'Jesus Christ Lawd Today', etc. 1977, was also the period that Gyle Waddy played the romantic interest of Diana Ross in the film 'The Wiz', also co-staring Michael Jackson, Nippsy Russel, Ted Ross, Teddy Williams, etc. Other films included 'Deathwish', 'Taxi Driver' etc. - as a back-up singer he also toured with Harry Belafonte.
