Grady Weatherford was born in Richmond, VA. He attended Douglas S. Freeman High School, the School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community, and Governor's School for Theatre before receiving a BA in Theatre Performance from the University of Maryland, at College Park. Upon graduation Grady was cast in National Player tour 48, performing in The Importance of Being Earnest, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and the The Way We Live Now. He continued the following year with the National Players Tour 49, performing in Of Mice and Men and Taming of the Shrew. After completing two years of national touring he settled in Washington, DC performing all over the greater metro area. He became a company member with Rorschach Theatre in 2000 and has been a mainstay in their productions (both on stage and off) ever since. Additionally in 2000, he began working as a film editor for WILL Interactive in Potomac, MD. At WILL he has, over the last 19 years, edited over 30 films, directed more than 20, as well as performing in them, designing make up, directing fight and combat sequences.
