Ravi Sheth graduated from Haverford College with a degree in astronomy in 1990. He went on to receive his Ph.D. in 1994 from the University of Cambridge and is now an Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania. His research interests concentrate on galaxy formation and the large scale structure of the Universe. His models provide an accurate and concise description of the abundance and spatial distribution of galaxies and galaxy clusters in expanding world models.
