Greg Sigurdson

"Ziggy" Sigurdson, real name Gregory, has over 25 years of experience in the film and television production industry. What began in the Art Department then led to 15 plus years working as a DGC Assistant Director, and finally to then transitioning into the world of Visual Effects, digital production. He was a key on-set leader of the Academy Award-winning best picture "The Shape of Water" as Visual Effects On set Lead and Additional Visual Effects Supervisor. Ziggy went on to lead his teams to create spectacular visual effects on projects such as A Dog's Purpose (2017), Carnival Row (2019), The Strain (2015-2017), Madam C.J. Walker (2020) as a Visual Effect Producer. Guillermo Del Toro once again tapped Ziggy as his trusted VFX Producer for Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark (2020) and as an additional VFX Supervisor for his current project, Nightmare Alley (2021). Ziggy is a natural problem solver on the floor, accustomed to production pressures, studio needs and exceeding everyone's expectations, all with a smile. A natural team builder and long-time filmmaker, Ziggy's exemplary communication skills allow him to clearly understand and execute a director's vision alongside his team.
