Carole is a much respected actress, having essayed several examples of iconic Australian character in her range of supporting roles in films such as Monkey Grip, My Brilliant Career, The Good Wife and Heatwave. She is perhaps best known to international audiences through her TV work, with a long career negotiating the commercial (guest roles in soaps such as "Neighbours", "The Young Doctors" and "Sons And Daughters") with the respectable, playing black marketeer Delie Stock in the acclaimed TV adaptations of Ruth Park's novels "A Harp In The South" and "Poor Man's Orange". Her most high profile TV role is possibly in the cult drama "Prisoner", in which Carole played the wisecracking multiple murderess Nola McKenzie. The character of Nola was intended to stay in the series as a long-term regular, and many "Prisoner" fans remain disappointed by Carole's departure from the series after six months. Carole resides in Sydney and continues to work predominantly in theatre.
