Sondi Sodsai

Sodsai Sondi Panthumkamol was Miss Thailand 1959 which brought her to the US to compete in the 1960 Miss Universe Pageant. She lost the title but did win Miss Congeniality and scholarship money which she used to enroll at UCLA. Majoring in drama at UCLA she quickly began working in television and became a regular on Adventures In Paradise. She recorded one album for Liberty Records in Hollywood entitled "Sondi". She soon returned to Thailand where she later became the head of Theatre/Arts at Chulalongkorn University.
