Sara Snow is a writer and showrunner who most recently worked as a Co-Executive Producer on the new Hallmark series, When Hope Calls (2019). She has written and produced drama, comedy, and youth series. Sara was executive producer and showrunner of the half hour N/CTV youth series, Degrassi: The Next Generation (2001), as well as executive producer and co-writer of the television movie, Degrassi Goes Hollywood (2009), consulting producer/writer on CBC's one hour television drama, Arctic Air (2012), supervising producer and head writer on the first season of the hit CBC half hour comedy, Mr. D (2012), consulting producer/writer for five seasons of Global's half hour youth series, Renegadepress.com (2004), and writer for four seasons on CBC's half hour youth series, Edgemont (2000). Sara won Best Writer for a Youth Series at both the Canadian Screen Awards and the Leo Awards for her writing on renegadepress.com. She has also worked on a number of reality series - including CBC's This Is High School (2016), Knowledge Network's Paramedics: Life on the Line (2019), Emergency Room: Life + Death at VGH (2014), and Slice's The Real Housewives of Toronto (2017). She is currently writing a female driven thriller feature film and working on an original series for which she was awarded a Canada Media Fund grant. Sara has developed with all of the major Canadian networks; she is a dual U.S./Canadian citizen who currently lives in Vancouver. Sara is represented by Perry Zimel and Stefan Hogan at OAZ.
