Kevin was born in Hollywood, California. He moved frequently, from California to Oregon, Michigan, Wisconsin and New Mexico. he left high school two years early after being accepted as a scholar to the United World College of Southeast Asia in Singapore at the young age of 15. It was there that childhood training in gymnastics became an affinity for performance and dance, and he earned the International Baccalaureate diploma. Kevin was awarded scholarships to the University of Southern California, and attended as a business major, film minor and honors student. He began dance training there and as a scholar at the Steven Peck dance studio. After only a year and a half of training, Kevin was hired to be the associate choreographer, dance captain and dancer on Madonna's now-legendary Blonde Ambition World Tour, from which the movie "Madonna:Truth or Dare" was made, and the video for "Vogue". He performed in Madonna's unforgettable Edwardian appearance on the MTV Music Video Awards, and won Star Search with the Dance Grand Champions 'New World'. Soon after, he was working with Gloria Estefan, Prince and as associate choreographer and dancer for Michael Jackson.
