Stokkermans allowed a large body of work in light music, where a whole generation of television viewers grew. In 1974 he received a Golden Harp for his entire oeuvre. Stokkermans wrote include the music for the youth series "Can you tell me the way to Hamelin, sir" and "Q & Q", and for the children's series "Ti-ta-magician '. He also wrote the Dutch entries Katinka (1962) and Time (1971) for the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2000 and 2001, his music can be heard in theaters in the musicals "Can you tell me the way to Hamelin, sir 'and' Miffy '. He also composed music for many Stokkermans Jasperina de Jong and Children for Children. He also made known advertising music, such as Venz Sprinkles and Kips Liverwurst.
