Derek Sullivan

Derek B Sullivan has designed, illustrated, and fabricated costumes for nearly 100 productions in the film, television, theatrical, and multi-media industries. Having studied fashion design at Otis/Parsons School of Design, and graphic design at Grossmont College, Derek spent three years out of the entertainment industry, serving as the Director of Design for a small toy company, creating board games, card games, and plush toys. Not content to leave the industry, Derek returned in 2004 to the theatrical world. He has received numerous awards for achievements in Theatrical Costume Design, and specializes in mascot, and creature design, using polymer resins and foam latex.
