Angie Suh grew up in Anchorage, AK. She went to college at Purdue University then studied film and television at Columbia College, Chicago. She pursued acting and writing in Los Angeles. Her first feature script was a Disney Fellowship semifinalist in 1995. She starred in the film, Yellow, directed by Chris Chan Lee. She won the C.A.P.E (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) Television writing award for her Bernie Mac spec script. She did the voice of Soon Yi in an episode of Kid Notorious, an animated show starring famed producer Robert Evans that aired on Comedy Central. She changed professions and went to FIDM, fashion design school, in San Francisco and worked for the Levi's and Dockers brand as an assistant designer. She took time off to raise her son. She produces and hosts two shows for her college radio station and completed an AA in Digital Media: Broadcast and Electronic Production at the College of San Mateo, in Spring 2020. She produces and hosts her own podcast, Asian Fail with Angie Suh. It's available on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, asianfail.
