Robert Anderson was born in April 1984, in a small town called Katrineholm in Sweden. His mother, Carina and his father, Kent used to work as newspaper deliverers at night and at a restaurant during the day. He has two younger brothers named Jonas Andersson and Dennis Andersson. Robert got his first camera and editing software at the age of 15. As a result, many homemade videos were made and the interest of telling stories through motion picture grew. After finishing high school Robert served one year in the Swedish Marie Core. Robert and his film camera went on a one-year travel around the world after being in the Marines. In January 2007, Robert attended the Stockholm Film School. While being a student he worked in the media industry. His position was a best boy gaffer and grip on music videos and commercials. At the end of 2007 Robert was offered a job for AMOK studios Stockholm to work as an editor and cinematographer for Swedish TV shows. Robert quit his job at the beginning of 2009 because of his passion for film when he got accepted at a school in the US. To save up some money before leaving Sweden, he moved to North Norway to work at a fish factory. He spent many hours writing scripts during his time in Norway. In September 2009 he finally moved to the US to attend The New York Film Academy at Universal Studios in California. During his year at NYFA he shoot several short films and also did a lot of editing outside school. Robert graduated from The New York Film Academy in Film Making in August 2010. Recently, Robert got a work visa and a job as Assistant Director of Distribution at a production company.
