John D. Beck

John D Beck is an award-winning Television Writer/Producer best known for his work on the writing staffs of "The Hughleys," "According to Jim," "Shake It Up!," and "Pair of Kings." He also, along with his writing partner Ron Hart, serves as Creator, Executive Producer and Showrunner of the award-nominated Disney Channel series, "Liv and Maddie." He is a 2001 Prism Award winner for "The Hughleys." He is a 2003 ProMax Award winner for "According to Jim" He is a 2007 Genesis Sid Caesar Comedy Award winner for "According to Jim" He is a 2015 Humanitas Prize Finalist for "Liv and Maddie."
