Stephanie moved to Los Angeles in 1997 after her family, friends and agent urged her to "pursue her career". Stephanie got her start doing commercials in Oklahoma and credits that beginning to her former agent, now casting director in L.A., Ricki Maslar. Before moving, she received her Master's degree in Nutrition from the University of Central Oklahoma. However, she decided that her true passion is acting. Stephanie took her desire seriously and completed a two-year acting school in method acting with D.W. Brown. To date, Stephanie has appeared in several films, television shows and commercials including "61", "Coyote Ugly" and "Sex & the City". One of her most memorable experiences thus far was her first acting job in Los Angeles on "Ally McBeal" when she played Courtney Thorne-Smith's body double opposite Gil Belows, wearing nothing but "sexy new shoes".
