Jason Cilo is the founder and President of Meetinghouse Productions, a content production company based in New York City. Meetinghouse has produced over 600 hours of content for TV networks and distribution partners including Travel Channel, A&E, ID, truTV, Court TV, MTV International, Food Network, DIY, Discovery, Banijay, AETN, CMT Canada, Electus, and Sky. Meetinghouse's 2020 Productions include the Travel Channel hit series 'Paranormal Caught On Camera', now in its 3rd season, and distributed internationally by AETN, the street magic series 'Mind Blown', distributed internationally by Banijay, the comedy-paranormal series 'The Osbournes Want To Believe' starring Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, the weather-phenomena series 'Doomsday Caught On Camera', distributed internationally by Alfred Haber, the true-crime series 'Chaos in Court' for Discovery ID, and the movie podcast Full Cast And Crew. Meetinghouse's previous series of note include the long-running comedy series 'World's Dumbest' (198 episodes), the Food Network series 'Dessert First', the truTV series 'Almost Genius' and 'Greatest Ever', and the MTV series 'Clickbait'. Meetinghouse also curates, produces, and manages social media pages and content for their comedy brands 'TWIT (The Week In Trump)', 'World's Dumbest', and Chuckler, with weekly audiences of over 7 million eyeballs. Web series of note include 'Romantic Encounters', 'Two Different Guys On A Bench', 'Philly Court', 'Stay At Home Dad', 'Friend Therapy', and 'Block Captain Dan'. A native of New Haven, CT, Jason graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst, MA. Jason worked as a paralegal and for the Special Olympics World Games before moving to New York to being working as a Production Assistant for Day & Date, a syndicated afternoon newsmagazine TV series produced out of the CBS Broadcast Center on West 57th Street in 1995. In 1997, Jason joined the newly launched MSNBC network as an Associate Producer, where he worked with Tom Brokaw, Katie Couric, Bryant Gumbel, and Bob Costas, among others. He was also on the staff of MSNBC's The Big Show With Keith Olbermann. In 1998, with Henry Astor, Jason co-produced and co-directed Bobby Darin: Beyond The Song, an original documentary pitched and sold to PBS. From 1998 to 2004. Jason was a writer and producer at VH1, where he wrote and produced numerous multi-hour pop-culture and musical specials. From 2004 - 2007 Jason was a writer for Scripps Networks and a freelance producer. Jason lives in New York City and Massachusetts with his wife, the theater director Amanda Charlton, and their daughter.
