Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Shana Montañez is an Actress, Singer, Writer & Host. She attended Columbia College where she received her BFA in Theatre, as well as a full dance scholarship at Joel Hall Dance Academy. Professional stage credits include Zoot Suit at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago and both the LA and Chicago ensembles of Latinologues, a one of a kind production from the mind of Rick Najera (Mad TV, In Living Color) and was selected out of hundreds to participate in the CBS Latino Showcase in Hollywood. As a vocalist & songwriter she has licensed music for networks and brands including: 20th Century FOX, Netflix, Hulu, VH1, Showtime, Bravo, Telemundo, Coca Cola & Fortnite, and was also featured on Season 5 of NBC's The Voice. Millennial P.I. a script she co-wrote, made the WeForShe "Ones to Watch" list Of Best Unproduced Female-Written TV Scripts. As an LGBTQ+ Artist, she has toured the Pride festival circuit as a performer and also hosted AT&T's "Turn up the Love" US tour.
