Karin Wegsjö

Karin Wegsjö directed short films and documentaries for Swedish Television and The Nobel Museum as well as the Guldbaggen nominees "Bucharest's discreet charm" and the winning Gguldbaggen Prize "Part of the world that belongs to you". For the theater, she has directed her own play "The perfect answer" at the National Theatre, where authentic interviews with people about crucial life decisions was mixed with newly written monologues performed by actors. Karin Wegsjö has worked as stage designer for the Stockholm City Theatre, the Royal Dramatic Theatre, Opera and others and has taught at the Dramatic Institute and the University. Wegsjö is also the initiator and artistic director of the newly established Science Film Festival FILM & SCIENCE at the Nobel Museum.
