Light-haired teenage actress from the early days of the British cinema, with which, for many years, she was the sole surviving link. The peak of her popularity came with Alma Taylor in the 'Tilly the Tomboy' series. She grew into a delicately pretty star, but disappointed her admirers by retiring in the early 1920s, with only a couple of appearances thereafter, Married her co-star and sometimes director, Henry Edwards.
