John Wildman had his first lead role in 1970 in the title role of the NFB award winning short film (Cork Film Festival) The Huntsman, followed by The Christmas Messenger with Richard Chamberlain and The Newcomers with Kenneth Welsh. After graduating from the Dawson College Theatre Program in Montreal he had starring roles in Humongous, Les Annees Des Reves with Monique Mercure and Gilbert Sicotte, Exit with Michel Cote and Lousie Marleau. The title role in the multiple award-winning My American Cousin won him a Genie award for Best Actor and he reappeared in its sequel American Boyfriends. He starred in the CTV series The Campbells as Neill Campbell for four seasons , Les Tisserand Du Povoir with Gabrielle Lazare (Arbitrage) , Warner Brothers Prince For A Day with Richard Belzer, The Adventures of Smoke Bellew, Family Passions as series regular Dillon MacDeere with Laurie Holden (Walking Dead) , Kung Fu The Legend Continues with David Carridine and The Way Of The West with Jessica Pare (Madmen). He has made guest appearances on many TV shows including The Murdoch Mysteries, Heartland, La Femme Nikita , Blauvogel, Secret Service, Catwalk, Bordertown,T and T, The Littlest Hobo with Carling Bassett , CBC's teleplay of Balconville with Peter MacNeill and Jayne Eastwood and the For The Record episode By Reason Of Insanity directed by Don Shebib.
