Jennifer Wilson

Jennifer has worked in various facets of the industry since she was a teen. After theatre school she began working and assisting in both voice over, commercial, film and tv casting and then worked as a talent agent with Vancouver's Kirk Talent Agency for several years. Next up was a stint in commercial television production as a talent coordinator for Film Group and Circle Productions in Vancouver, BC. She then left the business to become a massage therapist. She worked as a collaborator with the highly successful theatre festival "Here Be Monsters" with Jeff Gladstone, Heather Lindsday, Jesse Toso, Ryan Gladstone and Michelle Field. Together they created an innovative festival which integrated multi-disciplinary arts & social gatherings. Her work in the last several years has primarily been in the live performance, art world. Wilson performed & toured her unique take on neo-burlesque, under the name Jenny Magenta, from 2007-2019. She is most recently known for her choreography of Real Wheels Theatre's highly successful production of, "Sexy Voices" - a burlesque perspective on sex and disability. Her last film gig was on the crew of Tanya Tagaq's (Inuk throat singer) long form song video, "Retribution", where she was assisting props and wardrobe. She now lives on Cortes Island, BC and teaches dance and is a massage therapist.
