Ron Wolotzky, an ACE Award winning Producer of the acclaimed "Dream On" series on HBO, is a graduate of UCLA Film School. In addition he spent two years in the MFA program with a scholarship from the Academy of TV Arts & Sciences. He was a child actor in a children theater before attending UCLA film school, where he wrote, produced and directed two short films, "Yasha" and "Honey". After school he produced and edited the indie feature "The Deception of Benjamin Steiner", a film noir that premeired at Filmex, and was invited to numerous international festivals. He later produced "Home Fires" for Showtime, and "In A Shallow Grave" for American Playhouse and Skouras Films. He served as Line Producer on HBO's "Vietnam War Stories", which later led to producing and directing on HBO's "Dream On", where he directed many episodes including the season opener of the last season, and the emotional series finale. After "Dream On", Wolotzky directed "Campus Cops" for USA, and produced several pilots for both networks and cable channels, such as "Clueless" for Paramount/ABC, "MYOB" for NBC, "World Gone Mad" and "Love and Madness" for HBO. In addition, he produced and directed 2nd Unit on the feature "Red Nights". As head of Production and Development at Newmark Films, Wolotzky produced the quirky thriller "Dry Cycle". Wolotzky's recent film "Greed", marks his feature directing debut.
