Braden Wright is an actor, writer, producer. Recent on-camera credits include Designated Survivor (2016) and 12 Monkeys (1995). He has narrated over 60 audiobooks, has been featured in national publications for his narration and advocacy work, and coaches through his company Maple Audiobooks. As an actor, he has made over 30 appearances on "General Hospital," as well as doing theater in LA and voice over work, including a role in Rugrats in Paris (2000). Wright was born in Alberta, Canada and raised in Toronto. He toured for two years as a professional figure skater with "Ice Follies & Holiday on Ice," and with the world premiere tour of "Walt Disney Productions' World On Ice" doing over 900 performances throughout the US and in Mexico. While a lifelong performer, he began his behind-the-scenes industry career writing and producing industrial videos and then as a unit publicist on Moonstruck (1987) . In addition to working as a Senior Publicist on location throughout the US, Canada, as well as in France and Ecuador, he has also worked at the Walt Disney Studios as a senior photo editor, editing well over a million images on more than 90 features. Along with his project team, he received the Maxwell Weinberg Showmanship Award for Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) . An honorably-withdrawn member of AGVA and IATSE Local 600 (The International Cinematographers Guild), he is a current and active member of SAG-AFTRA and ACTRA as well as the APA (Audio Publishers Association). He earned his BSc. magna cum laude from Boston University's College of Communications and also competed in IRA competition with his frosh crew team as well as creating Rhett, the BU mascot character. As part of his degree, he studied in Strasbourg, France and is fluent in French. He and his wife have worked internationally as restaurant consultants. In 2003, he founded his own production company, Nuada Productions, and has developed several projects from his own scripts. He is the playwright of "Braden Wright's 'The Old Pros." In 1989, he married Celtic artist Diana E. Skeates.
