Hammad Zaidi founded the Lonely Seal Company Group, which holds Lonely Seal Releasing, an international film and television distribution and production company, and The Lonely Seal International Film, Screenplay and Music Festival, a FilmFreeway Top 100 Best Reviewed Festival. Lonely Seal Streaming, a streaming service that showcases independent cinema, Lonely Seal Live, which streams live events, launch in 2021. Zaidi is also a a partner at Designware.io Hammad also hosts Limping on Cloud 9, a podcast about his life, and he writes Going Bionic, a column with 300+ published articles about international distribution and filmmaker career strategies. 256 of Hammad's "Going Bionic" articles were published on FilmThreat. Zaidi is a certified cinema, television and video game buyer at the world's largest sales markets including Cannes, Berlin, Hong Kong, MIPCOM and MIPTV. He is also a member of the Writers Guild of America, and the Producers Guild of America. He is also an award-winning producer and writer who has been a jury member, advisory board member, panelist and screener at several film festivals. These include, but are not limited to Sundance, SXSW, Slamdance, Flickerfest in Sydney and The Lady Filmmakers Film Festival. Hammad has also been an adjunct professor and lecturer at several universities, including his alma mater UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, Chapman, The Watkins Film School in Nashville, The University of Kansas, and San Diego State, and many others. Hammad Zaidi received his Masters of Fine Arts from the UCLA School of Film and Television Producers Program.
