James Beaman is an award-winning actor and master theatre teacher. He was raised in Massachusetts by a set designer father and director/playwright mother, and studied at Boston University and George Washington University. He has lived and worked in New York City for 25 years. James was inspired to write a film about the infamous Helen Jewett murder when he was introduced to the story while working at New York's Museum of Sex. After exhaustive research, he wrote "The Girl in Green" over a five year period. It is his first feature screenplay.
