Alix Hayden

Alix Hayden was born in 1975 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. With a love of dramatics from an early age, Hayden participated in live theater, film and video throughout school and university. She was cast in 1987 as Alison in Puttnam's Prairie Emporium, a children's television series produced in Regina. Live stage acting was her first love, but she added theater production and directing to her resume in university. She was cast in 1999 in the film production, as "Connie" in "Ryan's Babe", the high school sweetheart whose suicide attempt sends the titular Ryan on a cross country adventure. Hayden was well-reviewed for lead roles in live theater productions of Maxwell Anderson's Joan of Lorraine, and Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park.
