Mike Sode was born in Illinois, to Peggy A McNamara and David A Sode, a Truck Driver. He is of Italian (Father) and Irish (Mother) descent. He is the youngest of 3 with one older brother and the oldest sister. His family moved to Glendale Heights, where he attended grammar school. He was something of a performer at an earlier age being goofy around his teachers and friends and was active in sports playing pop warner football. His first job working at a Cascade Drive-In movie theater was the fuel he needed to ignite his passion for movies. It was in High School (junior year) that he dropped wrestling in order to be more active in the performing arts and started acting on stage more regularly. It was not until the play Golden Boy that Mike was hooked on acting for life. Through out the 1990s Mike gained his stage experience through training with such schools as Second City in Chicago, Columbia College and Neighborhood Playhouse in New York and performing improvisational comedy. It was his move to Los Angeles in early 2000, that he turned his focus towards film acting and began to study with several private coaches in order to become more acclimated to Hollywood.
