Zack Ordynans was raised in West Nyack, N.Y. Shortly after graduating from Clark University, he wrote his first feature: Burning Annie, which loosely based on his college experiences as an obsessive film buff struggling to navigate romantic relationships. After an award winning festival run, Burning Annie received a limited theatrical release and DVD release in 2007, and a digital re-release in 2017. In 2011, Zack completed the no-budget experimental feature, One Week to Bill's Thing, which he co-wrote, co-directed and co-starred in with Burning Annie producer Randy Mack. Ordynans made his proper feature directorial debut in 2013 with Palace Living, which screened at a number of festivals, winning several awards. Palace Living is now available to stream on Vimeo. In between the features, Zack wrote and directed the short films Yin/Yang (LA Shorts Fest, 2006) and Don't Call Us (Ft. Lauderdale IFF, 2008). He lives in New York City with his wife, Jill, and their twin children, Evie and Ollie. In addition to filmmaking, he enjoys folding laundry and drinking coffee.
