Hannah Cowley grew up in Islington and was discovered by an agent as a child. She became one of the most sought-after young performer's in the UK, shooting print, television and billboard campaigns across the UK and Europe, including being the first "Milky Bar Princess." Her family later emigrated to Australia. While earning a BA (First Class Honors) in History, her directing debut 'Flame of the West' was mentored by Jane Campion; it was distributed by Ouat Media/Movieola. She undertook her first year of a PhD in History before relocating to Los Angeles where she filmed roles in Bernard Rose's 'Two Jacks' and Chris Sparling's 'The Atticus Institute.'
