Caterina Giargia

Caterina Giargia, also known as "Kartari", was born in Milan (Italy). Diplomated in Art, attending the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (Milan), she worked many years as art director and stylist in short commercial films, fashion shootings and advertising campaigns. In 1994 she starts her collaboration with film director Marco Bechis as art director and scriptwriter. In 2004 she founded with Marco Bechis a production and distribution Company, Karta Film srl. She is a producer, a script editor and an art director. She is also a painter. She lived many years in India, and she has two kids: Alberto Bechis Boll, philosopher, sound designer and Vjaya Bechis Boll, actress and scriptwriter.
