Michael D. Leone

Michael Leone launched his career working for the Massachusetts-based broadcast design company, Viewpoint Creative, in the early 90's. As lead Digital Artist his responsibilities included generating 3D content and compositing. By 2002 Michael relocated to Los Angeles and was employed by well-known production houses such as Radium, Digiscope, and Zoic Studios. As Senior Visual Effects Supervisor for Zoic Studios Michael concentrated his efforts in the episodic and feature film division contributing to numerous projects including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Justice, E-Ring, CSI:Miami, Firefly, Point Pleasant, Men in Trees, Chuck, Criminal Minds, Gossip Girl, Dollhouse, Spiderman 2, Serenity, and Fast and Furious 4. Michael founded Lion Visual Effects, Inc. in December 2008. In their first years Lion Visual Effects has produced visual effects for a number of prime-time television shows and pilots for several networks including Starz, Showtime, NBC, CBS, CW, and FOX; Lion Visual Effects feature clients include Sony Pictures, Smokewood Entertainment, and RG Entertainment. Lion Visual Effects most recently wrapped production on Torchwood: Miracle Day for STARZ/BBC, and Judy Moody and the not Bummer Summer.
