Javier Bermudez was born and raised in Puerto Rico from a Dominican Mother and Puerto Rican Father, and at the early age of 4 was already telling his friends he was going to create "magic of the movies" one day. All because he saw the original Star Wars at that early age. After making home movies and winning a local award for "Best Home Video" at the age of 15, he then decided to go to "La Universidad del Sagrado Corazon" in his hometown to study Telecommunications. There he became even more fascinated with the film industry when he discovered old classic movies from Luis Bunuel and Orson Wells, filmmakers he had never been exposed to before his college years. After graduating college he decided to move to Hollywood, where he started working as a content creator director in numerous jobs during the "dot com" boom. During his later work for Fox Sports, he brought the international department their first "Promax Award" for the channel ID commercial called "The Fifth Element" - a commercial which promoted the sport of Soccer as the fifth element of life. He then went on to pursue his passion for filmmaking at a closer range. He created motion picture marketing materials, trailers, commercials, documentaries, reality TV pilots, network promos, sizzle reels, and Marketing Materials for big Hollywood franchises and films such as "X-Men" and the Academy Awards winning film "The Revenant". For the last few years, he has begun to produce feature films and direct a variety of commercials for brands such as Mattel, Pepsi, and Arm & Hammer, among many others.
