Alex Brown - Producer Alex Brown is a UK-based producer who has been involved in the film and music business all his life. He had his first Head Credit appearance in a film drama at the age of six months. By the time he turned fourteen, Alex was a nationally-known child actor in Canada with principal roles in feature films and major network television series. In 2001, he was Production Coordinator on three international British feature film co-productions. At the age of 24, Alex was Associate Producer on the television series BIG SOUND, a 22-part sitcom about the music industry. This British-Canadian series was created by David Steinberg (CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, SEINFELD) and was broadcast in over twenty countries worldwide in its first season, with very good critical reception. As well as being a partner and shareholder in Studio Eight Productions, Alex is a vital part of the company's forthcoming production slate and is consulted daily on casting and music by a number of major indie North American film companies. He has been instrumental in putting the finance and talent together for the latest Pinewood production, "Take Down", and £8m production, which is set to go to camera mid June, 2014. Alex is in charge of the London office of Studio Eight and is developing new dramas in London and Northern Ireland.
