Sevier Crespo is an award-winning actor, producer, and writer with successful works in both television and film. Though easily recognizable by a bright smiles and playful demeanor, Crespo very quickly proves to be nothing short of a force of nature. Hailing originally from Puerto Rico, Sevier spent his adolescence in Dallas, TX where he learned English via comedy albums by Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor. In a fortuitous cut from his local high-school baseball team tryouts, Crespo ventured into the theater department - foreshadowing a successful career in entertainment. Sevier graduated from the KD Studios Conservatory with an Associate's degree in Visual and Performing Arts and shortly after graduating, was en route to Los Angeles to further pursue his acting career. Shortly after his arrival in Hollywood, Sevier booked a national commercial for Coca Cola and a role on NYPD Blue followed by roles on the award-winning Switched at Birth, Jackers and Walking with Angels. With his success in television, so came a natural success in films such as Subversion and Deceived which Crespo also wrote, as well as Jackers, which began with a mere $50,000 budget and grossed $500K in its first quarter and has taken in over $5 million worldwide. Crespo additionally acted in several more films such as Mi Princesa, Only in LA, Tom Cool, and Pendejo which took Best American Comedy Award at the New York City International Film Festival. While maintaining his acting career, Crespo began to take interest in the bigger picture; the scene that takes place behind the camera. With this came a direct pull to the world of production. It was here he met Robert Townsend who took Sevier under his wing, teaching him the ins and outs of film production that kick started a major milestone - the production from inception to post of Sevier's first feature film, Rhythm and Honey. Wasting no time, Sevier enrolled in the UCLA Producing and Line Producing program while simultaneously working under and learning from Joe Pytka and Sam Bayer. Crespo had the additional fortune of receiving guidance from the likes of Michael Mann, Jerry Bruckheimer and Ridley Scott. At this point, Sevier produced the urban comedy Busted, featuring David Faustino followed by Fast Lane, a $50,000 film that returned ten times its initial investment. Soon after, Sevier took a tightly scheduled and budgeted NBC pilot and completed it in record time. He followed this up with the multi award-winning Netflix show Mack and Moxy. Producing countless projects thereafter, Sevier seamlessly demonstrates it is one thing to find success, but another completely to create it. Transitioning from instant success as an actor, Sevier maintains the strong will, dauntless work ethic and fun attitude that has given him the reputation as "the man who gets things done." Now as a member of SAG-AFTRA and Producers Guild of America and founder of the full service production company, Peanut Gallery Group, Sevier Crespo is a favorite of many global brands such as Netflix, Adidas, NBCUniversal, UFC, Reebok, NBA and the NFL. His film Deceived made its world release in September and his latest film project titled El Guardia will release this year. This is followed with the film Subversion starting pre-production later this year and another film, Killing Class, right behind it.
