Anneke van Hooff is a Belgian actress and singer. She also works as a presenter, model and songwriter. She had Dutch roots but was born and raised in Belgium. From a young age on she was always on stage: singing, acting, dancing, playing the violin, playing the oboe,... After her studies classical singing at the conservatory in Antwerp, she studied musical theatre in Tilburg, the Netherlands. She played in multiple series such as FC de Kampioenen, En daarmee Baste, Droge voeding kassa 4, Familie, Wittekerke, Spoed, Thuis, De Bunker, Hidden Assets, Connie en Clyde, Sedes & Belli, Spring,... Musicals: Tin Tin the musical, Annie (Pepper), Elisabeth (Esterhazy), musical dinnershows (with Sandra Kim, Frank Hoelen, Chris Van Tongelen, Liv Van Aelst, Gunter Levi...)... Theatre: (2008-2013) Many plays at TAS (theatre by the stream), de Fluistercompagnie Between 2002 and 2003, she released 3 Eurodance singles under the name TLD. Como Te Quiero, Not alone and Torn Apart. All Produced by Regi Penxten. (Como Te Quiero and Not Alone written by Ariane Jansoone. Torn apart written by Regi and Gene Thomas) After that, she released 2 singles under her own name. "Lie to me" and "Give". (2004-2005) Lie to me (written and produced by Regi Penxten) went nr 1 in the Spanish charts. She hosted multiple TV shows for Jim TV, Kanaal Z, TV Oost, MENT, Vijf TV, VT4, Actua TV,... and also starred in many commercials over the years. With Nickelodeon's scoolkids show, she toured through Belgium with the Dora kids show she hosted and sang in the Choco gang with Eric Baranyanka for years and years. Between 2013 and 2018 she sang in the band "de Grietjes" together with other famous Flemish singers. Later, she specialised in cartoondubbings. You can recognise her as the Flemish voice in the following series: Clumsy Smurf in the Smurfs Tip in Tip the Mouse Corn in Corn and Peg Olly in The Tiny Chef Show Nadine in Spongebob, kamp koral Emma in Lego friends Manta in Casper the little ghost Evangeline in Wakfu Tara in Disneys Evermoor Naomi in Spyders Rachel in Fairly Odder And many many other parts. She also reads children's books and sings children's songs. Together with Christophe Severs she has written some pop songs of which some has made it to A airplay on national radio 2.
