Rob Diamond

Rob Diamond is an award winning filmmaker. He's been writing, directing and producing feature films since 1998. His movies have been distributed worldwide. "Wayward: The Prodigal Son" which he wrote, directed, produced and starred in was released nationally into select theaters in 2014. "The Last Straw" starring Corbin Bernsen was released in select theaters before going to television, DVD and streaming sites. Many of his others films are available on DVD, streaming sites and have been shown on cable TV. Raised in Southern California, he lived in Riverside until the 8th grade and then moved to the beach in Dana Point, California where he fell in love with surfing and the ocean. He started acting and modeling in Los Angeles after he was discovered on the beach when he was 17 and hand picked to do a commercial for Coca Cola. He went on to get cast in national commercials for Levis 501 Blues and Minute Maid among numerous others before landing his first part in a film with legendary actor, Mickey Rooney. He's known for his passion and commitment to filmmaking and love of teaching. He has taught film acting since 1998 and owns and operates "Rob Diamond's Actors Lounge" in Salt Lake City, Utah where he resides. His students have landed speaking parts in hundreds of films and television shows. Rob has written over 30 screenplays to date. He won the best director award for his feature film "Saint Street" at the 2013 Filmed in Utah Awards. "Saint Street" has been shown on TV as a movie of the week and can now be seen on Amazon Prime along with another film he directed, wrote and produced called "Elizabeth's Gift." In 2016 he directed, wrote and produced "Love Everlasting" starring Lucky Blue Smith, Christie Burke and Emily Procter. "Love Everlasting" had its world premiere in Hollywood at The Vista Theater and can be seen on Amazon Prime, iTunes, VUDU, Google Plus and numerous other streaming sites. "Love Everlasting" was also released into theaters in France, Japan and numerous other countries in 2017. In 2016 Rob also released the heart wrenching true story "Sacred Vow" which he wrote, produced and directed. Another film he directed, wrote and produced is called "Our Father's Keeper" which was released in 2019. His latest film "Lucy Shimmers and The Prince of Peace" starring Scarlett Diamond and Vincent Vargas won best director, best feature film, best supporting actor and best score at the 2021 Filmed in Utah Awards and can be seen on Amazon Prime, Pureflix and many other streaming sites. Rob continues to stay busy as a dedicated and passionate filmmaker and has numerous other films in the works that he will be writing, directing and producing.
