Allen Wolf is an award-winning filmmaker, author, and game creator. Allen wrote, directed, and produced the movie adaption of Hooked. The screenplay has won numerous awards, and the film will bring awareness to human trafficking and autism. The film is based on his novel that won multiple awards including a Book of the Year award. In their review for Hooked, Kirkus Reviews wrote, "The high-concept narrative is entertaining, well-paced, and highly visual. It's a charming, humorous, and hopeful tale. A quirky, touching love story that offers insights into autism and religion." Allen also wrote, directed, and produced In My Sleep that debuted in theaters as the #1 new indie movie its opening weekend. In My Sleep sold to over 70 countries and garnered awards from nine film festivals. It is available on iTunes and Amazon Prime. Hollywood Reporter raved, "In My Sleep never rests, a credit to the tight, psychologically astute pacing of filmmaker Wolf." Allen has also won 38 awards for the games he has created for his company, Morning Star Games. His games have been played by hundreds of thousands of people around the world and include You're Pulling My Leg!, You're Pulling My Leg! Junior, JabberJot, Pet Detectives, and Slap Wacky! In 2020, Allen adapted his popular games into books that can be played anywhere and are now available wherever books are sold. Allen graduated from New York University's film school summa cum laude. His senior thesis film, Harlem Grace, was a finalist for the Student Academy Awards as well as the Producer's Guild of America Award. At age 9, Allen wrote his first screenplay while growing up in Dayton, Ohio, and soon after began creating short films with his uncle's Super 8 camera. By age 17, he completed his first feature-length movie, Gregory Finch. At age 19, Allen created and produced a television show, Teen Talk, that aired on PBS. He married his Persian princess, and they are raising two kids together, Adele (born 2012) and Cyrus (born 2015). He enjoys traveling around the world and listening to people's life stories. Allen also cherishes spending time with his family, anything chocolate, and visiting Disneyland where he has been over 500+ times.
