Jamal Weathers, a native of Los Angeles, is co-founder and CEO of Kush Boys Worldwide. His diverse professional background includes acting in motion pictures, managing concert tours, and modeling clothing. Weathers was raised in a show business family. His father, John Weathers, was an actor in the '70s and his godfather, Ted Lange, played Isaac the Bartender on the hit '70s TV sitcom The Love Boat. Jamal started acting in theater at 7 years old at the Inner City Cultural Center. He has since starred in a dozen films, including Belly 2, We Own the Night, Shooter, Four Brothers, and I Heart Huckabees, and Entourage the television series. In addition to acting, Weathers has worked with Mark Wahlberg, Danny Glover, and Antoine Fuqua as a reading consultant on numerous films; modeled clothing for leading brands including Nike, Karl Kani, Mecca, and Helly Hansen; and co-managed the musical group Stepchild with Lucky Lamar, a musical group that signed with Warner Bros. in 1995. As manager, Weathers toured with D'Angelo and Prince. Weathers is a serial entrepreneur, with partnerships in AQUAhydrate, KB Worldwide, Wahlburgers, to name a few. Weathers attended Grambling State University as a Mass Communication Major. He is part of the ownership group that opened the restaurant Alma Nove in Hingham, Massachusetts and a partner and consultant for water brand Aqua Hydrate. In his spare time, Weathers participates in philanthropic projects including Junior Diabetes Research Foundation and EDEYO Foundation for Haiti, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Haitian youth. Weathers oversees the business operations for Kush Boys Worldwide, a new lifestyle brand for a demographic the Kush Boys call the "new-age pop culture."
