Kelly Arthur Knox was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the youngest of two. His mother, Linda Knox, built airplanes for 25 years. His father, Henry Knox, built cars. Knox moved to Los Angeles and studied at Playhouse West Acting School and Repertory Theater and had a full scholarship at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
