Joris Hoebe

As a young boy Joris became obsessed by making films. Inspired by Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese and later on David Fincher he started his way into the dutch film industry working on sets as script-continuity and in the light department. From 2002 till 2006 he studied directing at the Netherlands film academy in Amsterdam. In the years after his graduation he directed shorts and commercials. In 2011 he founded a company called Spektor with his long time companion and actor Tim Murck. In Spektor Joris functions as the creative lead and story director for the stories they tell. Spektor is an innovating agency that works on new ways of storytelling and engaging audiences.
