Jan Latussek

Born in Barcelona, and grew up in a multilingual and multicultural family. He got interested in film early on and pursued it as a career. After graduating High School he minored in Business Administration at the ASSET in Barcelona and continued to study Communication Sciences at Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación Blanquerna also in Barcelona. There he started multiple collaborations with various local production companies and independently produced and directed a series of shortfilms. He collaborated on the award winning Lalia (1999) and received thereafter a scholarship to study abroad. He recently graduated with a Master of Fine Arts at the American Film Institute, where he produced The Mexican Dream (2003).
