Kit Weyman

Kit Weyman is an actor, writer, and director, born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Growing up in front of the camera on various lead and supporting roles in film and television, Kit was able to harness his deep love of storytelling into a burgeoning career as a film director. His debut short film "Ways to Water" won the 2017 Coup de Couer at the Cannes Short Film Corner, and was among the favourites screened at the 2017 Canadian Film Fest. Kit is also known within Toronto's music community, coming up in the hip hop and music scene. Fusing the two worlds, he started directing music videos in 2012. His visuals capture movement and moments, merging the mundane with the magical, and expanding the mythology of the city. He attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts, Ryerson Theatre school, and York University for creative writing and screenplays.
