Róbert Hrutka

Róbert Hrutka (guitarist, singer, composer, orchestrator, musician) Since 1989 he has been collaborated in making more than two hundred albums. Together with his bands he has performed in numerous national and international festivals and musical events. As a musician, he has worked with Kretens, István Lerch and his friends , Pénz, the Tolcsvay T-monográf, László; Dés or Géza Bereményi, Renáta Tolvaj, Ildikó Keresztes, Tamás Somló, Pain, Orsi Tunyogi, Szonja Oroszlán, Márta Sebestyén, Bea Tisza, Horváth Charlie, Gabi Tóth, Vera Tóth - just to name a few. His name can also be related to many other compositions that were made together with Cotton Club Singers, the band of Roy and Ádám or Ferenc Demjén. The world of theatre is also close to him as he has been commissioned to co-compose many masterpieces with well-known artists including Kátya Tompos, Molnár Péter Kálloy, Anikó; Für, György Cserhalmi, Juli Básti or Dorottya Udvaros. His name not only familiar in his home country but the international music world also counts on his great work, just like Jamelia from London. Between 2001 and 2008 he wrote and recorded many hits and albums together with Jamie Winchester. With 7 years of corporation in collecting reputable composition and recording credits behind they decided to break off in order to start their solo career and achieve their goals both in national and international music business. During his career nearly thousand film makers and commercial companies commissioned Róbert Hrutka to write and compose soundtracks for them. Moreover for many years he was Music Director of famous international companies' commercial shots and he was responsible for making music for advertising campaigns of well-known trademarks. He has been a producer and a composer for many albums and his name has been related to many movies including Magyar Vándor, Lora, Valami Amerika 2., Üvegtigris 3. and Magicboys , as well as the music of Macbeth in theatres. Besides writing several pieces of headline music for different television performances, he played an important part in making and arranging the image of Hungarian Governmental TV channels (M1 and M2). His musical proficiency was honored by many awards. In 2005 he got "The Rock Album of the Year" (Fonogram Award) and "The Composer of the Year" (Artisjus Award). Above all he owns many other awards which have significant fame in the music business (Gold and Silverblade; Cannes and Portorozs) . Hrutka Róbert composed and recorded his first solo album "Szabadság-vírus" in 23 May 2009, which was co-composed by former and new members of his band to make it more enjoyable. In the spring of 2011 for the delight of his audience Robi released his next solo album titled "Hét nap után", and for the great joy of the creators it rapidly reached the peak of the hit lists leaving numerous famous musicians and artists behind.
