Brandon Tesar was born and raised in Winnetka, Illinois, suburb of Chicago. He started acting at the age of ten, winning awards for vocal performance, acting and directing at New Trier High School, then ultimately matriculating to New York University's Tisch School of the Arts as an Musical Theatre major. Brandon focused his endeavors on film and television, co-starring in The Code, and later graduating with Honors with a BFA in Drama from NYU. After college Brandon returned to Chicago and worked as a stage manager and understudy at the Acme Theatre on Chicago Ave. Soon afterward he began working with uPressplay on projects including Stay Dead, Roscoe Village and local commercials. Most recently he completed the feature Stump the Band, to be released in August 2005. He currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
